charlize was born at 9:50 am, weighs 6 lb 7 oz and 19 in long and took a whopping 5 hours of labor!

church was full of mini superheroes last sunday. all the kiddies got to dress up like their favorite superhero and play games and do all the normal things superheroes like to do...we had power rangers, spiderman, super sam, underdog and fairy princesses to name a few. FUN!!!

it's swivel chair time! every month or so you're going to get to meet one of our kids from ccc kidz church! we may be biased but we think they're the coolest, most fun and fabulous kids EVER!

if you could be a cartoon character, which one would you be and why?
i would be like...ummm...a power ranger one..i'll take the red one because i like him and because he has a sword, he turns into a robot and he has shields on him

what is the menu of your favorite meal?
i love quesadillas, no meat, cheese only

what are your favorite smells?
the waffles my mom makes.. i love their smell

do you collect anything?
i collect cars, mini ones.. i have a box of them.. one day i want to have 100 of them to fill the box

what is your favorite soda?
the green one...

what is the best part of kidz church?
i get to go in the jumpy castle!!!!!

if you were going to a desert island who and what would you bring with you?
i would take water, a hat, sandals, food....also i have a girlfriend, her name is casey and she is 4!

we had the immense fun of getting to be part of spirit west coast this year! it was a hoot! ps jurgen spoke on the air one stage as well as the homegrown stage where house red played!

meet greg. he's 'the man' from 'monique and the man' on san diego's own jack fm.

a few well known facts about greg:
1. he's a ridiculously good cook
2. he somehow scored one of the hottest girls in the world, ms. nevada aka gina
3. they got married about seven years ago and have two gorgeous kids
4. they've been part of ccc san diego since sunday #2 (the infamous parking lot service)
5. greg is the reason you can download and listen to ps jurgen's sermons...he brings the upload magic every week

and here's a few not-so-well-known facts about greg:

my job best compares to...balancing the budget on nuclear energy...uh, not really. it compares to when you were a kid and all your friends would come over on a friday night, you'd play cd's, talk all night, eat unhealthy food and not get any sleep.

most weeks I just need...to be with my family, watch a sunset and get a good pedicure.

i easily fall in love with...a perfectly foamed cappuccino in the morning.

don’t count on me to...be on time, plan your financial future or quote shakespeare.

this summer I need...to get in shape, but wait...round is a shape!

saturday mornings you will find me...hopefully snoring like a buzz-saw trying to catch up on sleep.

i am most difficult when...i'm tired, hungry, or when there's painful chafing.

if im craving something, typically it is...nachos, fried chicken or mexican food :)

the reason I love what I do is...i don't have to dress up or fight traffic and i get paid to goof off.

my most embarassing moment in my career was...when i was working at star 98.7 in los angeles. the cafe in our building downstairs delivered my lunch this one day. i left the studio and walked out to the lobby where i greeted a gentleman in shabby clothes and a hat and said, "how much do i owe you?" all of a sudden the other guy in the suit next to him said, "i don't know what you're referring to, but i'd like you to meet mr. carlos santana." (oye como va...soy un idiota!!)

here's some fun from suite 308 (ccc's media office :) this will be playing at spirit west coast on may 23-25. by the way, the ccc worship team is playing at s.w.c. on may 24 at 12.40 pm with ps jurgen speaking afterwards! ps jurgen is also speaking MAINSTAGE saturday at 11 am!

the ccc kidz american idol finals happened last sunday and delta rocked the house with her own version of 'god made me'. here's her finale performance...(watch from the beginning to see delta winning the award or skip to 2.15 for the song)
